What is Energy Healing and how does it work?

Many physical illnesses carry an emotional component, and their roots can be found in those emotions. Because everything is energy, our emotions — even if they exist on a subconscious level — impact our systems and shows up in our bodies as illness.

Energy healing is a subtle-energy modality that works with the various planes of awareness. It addresses the core issues in our system, assessing, balancing, and clearing what is stuck. This frees us up to experience healing on multiple levels and to reconnect with our authentic selves.

Many people use their energy field like a big trailer to store old emotional baggage. They drag this heavy residue with them everywhere they go. When the baggage isn’t dealt with, it continues to accumulate, weighing us down and holding us back. We end up experiencing the present through the lens of the past.

The energy healing process cleans out that energy field, eliminating what we don’t need or want, and even didn’t realize was there!

In my practice, I use the chakras as tools for a client’s evolution. So, in addition to clearing unwanted energy, I work with the client’s energy body to set and align chakras, depending on the specific case. I also facilitate energetic infusions to colonize the client’s energy body with pure energies after clearing unwanted energy.

The catch? It’s up to you, not only to take the first step, but also to become the master of your self-care. It starts with acknowledging that you need assistance, then receiving, releasing, and giving yourself the necessary aftercare to integrate the energy work.

What can I expect from an energy healing session?

Each session begins with brief intake (5 – 10 minutes). I listens to you and focuses on what you want and need. 

During your intake, I look for patterns and themes that you might not be aware of, identifying the underlying issues that are triggering those patterns, and intuiting the right course of action for your session. 

During the initial intake (which might take longer than 10 minutes), this discussion leads to a focus for improvement that we will persist in for a number of sessions. In this way, you will be able to see clear progress and transformation.

Once you’re on the table, your job is to receive and release. Most people go into a deep space of relaxation.

I work on your energy field, pulling out the old programming, stuck emotions, and connections that don’t belong to you. 

After working on ridding you of what you don’t need, I infuse your field with more positive energies and frequencies that bring you peace, self-compassion, and a deep sense of stability.

What happens afterwards?

After each session, you’ll be given follow-up homework and skills to practice in order to integrate and further support your healing. Your self-care is a big part of energy healing. At this time, I will be able to recommend a course of energetic treatments that will target your specific challenges.
